"Network error" when opening an account.

I filled in my email address and a p/w to open an account and got "Network error", and repeated the process, deleting my u/n and p/w and re-typing the characters: same result. I deleted the app, downloaded a new package, installed and tried again. Same result.

My OS is Mojave, 10.14.5

Please advise.

Same "network error" when trying to log in for the first time (after having created an account via the Sign Up to the Hype Machine link). Tried both username as well as email. Confirmed the credentials work over at hypem.com.

The app extensivelly seems to be using google-analytics.
I block that address in my firewall. period.

Thus I get a network error.

When firewall disabled for google addresses - the app works.
