The INSTALL notes say to "1. Get the recent version of JavaThumbnailer at the [Download Page]", but the download page (https://github.com/benjamin4ruby/java-thumbnailer/downloads) has no library to download. Is this project alive at all? Thanks

Indeed, the project is currently not maintained.
But there ARE downloads, I just forgot to change this link when I moved
the repo - the correct link is:

https://github.com/benjaminpick/java-thumbnailer/releases

Oh wait, the downloads actually got lost when Github changed its policy ... I will try to rebuild the most current release but not today.
