KaTeX support (with or without MathJax fallback)

Opening a separate issue for KaTeX support.
The main motivation is performance (#14) but it's worth tracking separately.
With 0.4 supporting arrays, it became a serious contender, even without MJ fallback. And it's not a hard task.
