excessive https listing for URL with aggregation using FileSystems could probably be improved

I see excessive listing when trying to get completions, and I suspect the logic could be improved. Try:

Also if logging shows "open connection" it should also log "close connection". Either this is not done (which is bad) or this is not logged (more likely).
