need way to indicate when servers have problems

HAPI servers go down at times, so it would be nice to indicate that or have an easy way to show server status.

Also, some servers don't seem to have all the datasets they are advertising. On the LISIRD server, for example, some of the datasets no longer seem to work:

Actually, the whole LISIRD server seems to be down as of now (10:40am EST on 2025-01-03)? It was working yesterday, at least for a catalog request.

It would be nice to have some kind of stoplight chart about server status to help users manage expectations.

LASP server is back, but still having problems - many datasets don't seem to be there.
