From 8f220258239a3c43ba65ba7d57f22f4caf2f0ad8 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Paul V Craven Date: Mon, 5 Oct 2026 16:02:37 -0500 Subject: [PATCH] Give the release workflow permission to create GitHub releases The release workflow's "Publish GitHub Release" step (ncipollo/release-action) creates a GitHub release with the generated notes, which needs contents: write. The job only had contents: read, so the step failed with "Error 403: Resource not accessible by integration" on every release since 4.0.0.dev5. The earlier steps, including publishing to PyPI, succeeded each time.
