Maximum Likelihood algorithm fails

The maximum likelihood algorithm fails with two errors using the default configuration.

The message log shows:

2025-11-21T15:26:43     CRITICAL    SCP : covariance matrix
2025-11-21T15:26:44     CRITICAL    SCP : multiprocess: error classification

This exact error occurred for about 20 students in my class, including linux and windows users.

Other algorithms like minimum distance work as expected.

Hello @LevitatingBusinessMan , thank you for reporting this.
It is an error related to covariance matrix calculation for a stacked band raster. It works as expected with single bands.
While I fix this, please use this tool to split the bands https://semiautomaticclassificationmanual.readthedocs.io/en/latest/split_bands_tab.html
