Both uploaded a `maintenance-patch` artifact, and the runtime artifact list keeps only the newest artifact per name, so the older ID failed with `None of the provided artifact IDs were found`. Each reusable now uploads under its own name; the download side already selects by ID and needs no change. --- .github/workflows/open-maintenance-pr.yaml | 2 +- .github/workflows/update-python-dependencies.yaml | 2 +- .github/workflows/upgrade-release-tools.yaml | 2 +- changelog.d/+unique-maintenance-artifact.bugfix.md | 3 +++ 4 files changed, 6 insertions(+), 3 deletions(-) create mode 100644 changelog.d/+unique-maintenance-artifact.bugfix.md diff --git a/.github/workflows/open-maintenance-pr.yaml b/.github/workflows/open-maintenance-pr.yaml index 9098afa..e79a89a 100644 --- a/.github/workflows/open-maintenance-pr.yaml +++ b/.github/workflows/open-maintenance-pr.yaml @@ -3,7 +3,7 @@ on: workflow_call: inputs: artifact-id: - description: ID of the maintenance-patch artifact the caller uploaded in the same run + description: ID of the maintenance patch artifact the caller uploaded in the same run type: string required: true allowed-paths: diff --git a/.github/workflows/update-python-dependencies.yaml b/.github/workflows/update-python-dependencies.yaml index 91833d2..d6f1707 100644 --- a/.github/workflows/update-python-dependencies.yaml +++ b/.github/workflows/update-python-dependencies.yaml @@ -269,7 +269,7 @@ jobs: if: steps.patch.outputs.changed == 'true' uses: actions/upload-artifact@cf430e030ddbb5b0abf93d22962f4752f3646cd9 # v7.0.2 with: - name: maintenance-patch + name: maintenance-patch-python-dependencies path: ${{ runner.temp }}/maintenance.patch if-no-files-found: error retention-days: 1 diff --git a/.github/workflows/upgrade-release-tools.yaml b/.github/workflows/upgrade-release-tools.yaml index 6d97872..b23c5ef 100644 --- a/.github/workflows/upgrade-release-tools.yaml +++ b/.github/workflows/upgrade-release-tools.yaml @@ -88,7 +88,7 @@ jobs: uses: actions/upload-artifact@cf430e030ddbb5b0abf93d22962f4752f3646cd9 # v7.0.2 if: steps.lock.outputs.changed == 'true' with: - name: maintenance-patch + name: maintenance-patch-release-tools path: ${{ runner.temp }}/maintenance.patch if-no-files-found: error retention-days: 7 diff --git a/changelog.d/+unique-maintenance-artifact.bugfix.md b/changelog.d/+unique-maintenance-artifact.bugfix.md new file mode 100644 index 0000000..7535111 --- /dev/null +++ b/changelog.d/+unique-maintenance-artifact.bugfix.md @@ -0,0 +1,3 @@ +A workflow that calls both `update-python-dependencies` and `upgrade-release-tools` no longer fails in +`open-maintenance-pr` with `None of the provided artifact IDs were found`.
