This looks awesome!
I was able to run the github-matrix and I can see log messages reporting that commits were fetched. I also see WARN about "Request method POST not supported" from o.s.web.servlet.PageNotFound.
I tried to install the OSX screensaver but "Matrix" didn't show up.
It looks like the last commits to this project (and the screensaver one) were from awhile ago (about a year).
I was able to run the github-matrix server and then HTTP GET against /fetch with the headers "fetchSize=5" and I got github commits with code so I'm confident your github-matrix service works.
I know that API's in OSX change. Do you know if the screensaver app still works in 10.12.x?
I'd really like to get this running on my desktop - this was a really great idea!
