What

  • The home walk is now 7 cards in this order: Pairy, Chalkieboard, CheckyBoard, Cool Kiwi (working name), StoneWars, Deki Duck, 또렷. Scrolling slides the posters along a wall, one at a time. The active card comes forward and its detail panel slides in beside it (under it on phones). The section heading is "What we make." / "만들고 있는 것들." A progress bar shows 01 to 07. Reduced motion and short screens get a static fallback.
  • The cards come from _products/apps.json through python3 _products/walk-gen.py. Each name is on one line, so renaming Cool Kiwi is a one-line change.
  • Facts come only from the repo, the public StoneWars page, the Pairy App Store listing and the product owners (Chalkieboard, 또렷). Chalkieboard (초키보드), CheckyBoard, StoneWars and Ttoryeot (또렷) now have full entries. A card link can carry a separate Korean URL (href_ko). Products with no source have TODO entries in apps.json.
  • Every other product is removed. Its pages are now noindex redirect stubs to / or /ko/. Cards, nav, footer, about, legal, pay, 404 and blog cross-links are gone. sitemap.xml, llms.txt, llms-full.txt and site-data.json no longer list them. check_llms.py accepts an empty product list, and the Rust generator refuses to run with none.
  • The character is gone from the whole site: hero, walk, copy, alt text and the OG card. assets/og-home-207studio.png is a new card with the same path and meta, so social caches show the old card until they re-scrape.
  • robots.txt, CNAME, _cloudflare and canonical/hreflang on the remaining pages are unchanged.

Walk direction (3 prototyped, shots in sodam-shots/cb2ee8a/dir-a|b|c)

  • Picked (c), a horizontal wall driven by vertical scroll. One transform moves the wall, and each card keeps its detail panel beside it on desktop and under it on phones.
  • Rejected (b), the in-place expand. It reflows the grid every step, needs the pointer we removed, and the scroll height jumps on phones.
  • Rejected (a), the side panel. It splits the note away from its card and turns into a long list on phones.

Motion

  • Each step dwells for 55% of its scroll range, then eases (in-out cubic) to the next. There is no scrollTo or CSS snap, so it never fights the user's scroll.
  • Inactive cards sit back at 94% scale and 45% opacity. Passed cards fade out. The detail panel fades and slides in a beat after its card.
  • Only transform and opacity change. At 4x CPU throttle, 0% of frames go over 16.7 ms at 1440, 390 and 360.

Performance

Shots and videos

  • ~/Scratch/sodam-shots/2c74c25/ (before the rebase; the commit is now 334c326): steps 01 to 07 at 1440, KO 07, 390 steps 01 and 05, 375×667, a mid-walk frame, and the earlier direction prototypes in dir-a|b|c.
  • walk-1440.mp4 (12.7 s) and walk-390.mp4 (12.8 s).
  • ~/Scratch/sodam-shots/907fc92/ (before the rebase; the commit is now a39f65f): card 07 (Ttoryeot) at 1440 EN/KO, 390 and 375×667.
  • ~/Scratch/sodam-shots/4cc2014/: card 02 (Chalkieboard) at 1440 EN/KO and 390.
  • with-figure/: steps 01 and 04 at 1440 with the character still in, for comparison only. Not in this build.
  • ~/Scratch/sodam-shots/38f6d72/: card 01 (Pairy) with the Mac download at 1440 EN/KO, 390 and 375×667.

Pairy for Mac download

  • "Download for Mac" / "Mac용 다운로드" on the Pairy poster and detail panel, with "Apple Silicon · macOS 15+ · Version 1.4.2" and an install note. The App Store link stays.
  • The zip is not in the repo. It is an asset on a draft release, pairy-mac-1.4.2-142 on this repo. The button links the final asset URL, which returns 404 until the release is published. Publish the release when this PR goes live.
  • File Pairy-mac-1.4.2-142-notarized.zip, 22,075,699 bytes, SHA-256 38584e50e1963fd45369ebe496bce3324515651f1f81946a5248dcca23fc1ded. Notarized and stapled.
  • The app inside is named PairyMac.app, so the install note says that. The zip carries ._ resource files. A Finder double-click keeps the signature valid, but command-line unzip breaks it, so the note says to double-click. Re-zipping with ditto -c -k --keepParent would remove that trap.
  • Data lives in site-data.json downloads. walk-gen.py renders the walk, and the Rust generator renders llms.txt and llms-full.txt (with size and SHA-256). On a clean copy, diff -rq against the commit is empty.
  • On phones the note drops the duplicate button on tall screens and the feature list on short ones, so every card still fits.
  • Pairy price wording is unchanged.

Update, Nov 3: walk D v2 and the Pairy page (4cc3ad9, 1d3f165)

유일 님 approved mockup D v2 ("응, 구현 시작"). The walk is now Mimi on the left with a speech bubble per app, and one tall card on her right that changes in depth: the card falls back and fades while the next one rises from behind. Each card shows the real app icon, its links, one line and a real app screen (Pairy from the App Store listing, Chalkieboard from its PM), then what it is, who it is for and the points. Phones put the card on top and Mimi small at the bottom; short laptops fold the details to one row; reduced motion keeps the static grid.

/pairy/ and /ko/pairy/ are now real pages in the night-sky look: how it works in three steps, the six App Store screenshots, and a #mac section with the notarized download, install steps, version, requirements, size and SHA-256. /pairy/mac/ points there. Both pages are in the sitemap and llms files. The price is left out while the App Store vs site price question is open.

/stonewars/ (StoneWars card, llms-full.txt) is served by the public 207studio/stonewars repo's own GitHub Pages under 207studio.dev, not from this repo; it returns 200 live.

Open items

  • Missing facts for Cool Kiwi and Deki Duck are TODO in _products/apps.json. StoneWars is missing who it's for.
  • Pairy price: the App Store says free with optional tips. The site and llms say one-time purchase ($4.99). The hero note "Full source included. One-time purchase." is still on the page.
  • The hero sky painting is unchanged. Whether to keep it is an open question.

@207studio-founder 207studio-founder changed the title home: walk — pinned step-by-step tour over the 3 + 2 grid home: walk through the seven apps; take the other products down Nov 2, 2026

- The poster grid, Mimi and tape stay as they were. Each poster gets a note:
what it is, who it is for, three points from its product page, a link (EN, KO).
- Wide, tall screens: the stage pins for five steps. The lit poster lifts with a
gold edge, the others dim by brightness, and its note fills the free cell.
Mimi walks on the spot between steps and leans toward the lit column.
- Narrower screens keep every note under its poster and light one step at a time.
Phones get a small sticky Mimi chip naming the step.
- Steps come from IntersectionObserver sentinels. Focus lights its step and,
when pinned, scrolls to it. Reduced motion or no script: static grid, all notes.
- The 3D wall walk and its rail are gone; "That's five of ten." follows the pin.

The walk now stops at Pairy, Chalkieboard, CheckyBoard, Cool Kiwi (working
name), StoneWars, Deki Duck and 또렷, rendered from _products/apps.json by
_products/walk-gen.py so a rename is one line. Pinned layout is 3 + 3 + 1 with
the note in the two free cells. Facts that have no source are marked TODO in
the data file.

Every other product page (EN and KO, 24 URLs including both indexes) is now a
noindex redirect stub to the home page. Product cards, nav, footer, about,
legal, pay, 404 and blog links to them are gone, along with their entries in
sitemap.xml, llms.txt, llms-full.txt and site-data.json. check_llms.py accepts
an empty product list; the Rust generator refuses to run with none.

Posters slide along a masked wall past Mimi with a dwell plateau per step.
Progress bar 01–07, lean toward walk direction, sprite lazy-loaded on approach.
Instrument Sans pinned to wdth=100 (57KB to 30KB, pixel-identical).

Remove the character from the hero, the walk, the OG card and all copy.
The walk heading is now neutral and the motion lives in the cards and
detail panel. CheckyBoard and StoneWars get facts from the repos and the
public StoneWars page; the other products keep TODO placeholders.

Card 07 gets what it is, who it is for, three key points and a
Coming soon status. No links or dates. llms lists it too.

Card 02 gets what it is, who it is for, three key points, a Beta
(TestFlight) status and a link to its site (Korean page on /ko/).
The KO name is now 초키보드. About pages and llms follow.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
With an empty product list the Rust generator leaves the hand-written
/products/ redirect stubs alone, drops /products/ and /ko/products/
from the sitemap, and prints the llms Products heading only when there
is something to list. The llms templates now match the live text.
Running the generator, blog-gen.mjs and walk-gen.py on a clean copy
reproduces the tree byte for byte; the #35 product data still does too.

Download for Mac / Mac용 다운로드 on the Pairy poster and note, with the
requirements line and an install note. The App Store link stays. The zip
lives on a draft GitHub Release (pairy-mac-1.4.2-142), not in the repo.
site-data.json gains a downloads list; walk-gen.py and the Rust generator
render it into the walk, llms.txt and llms-full.txt (with SHA-256 and size).
Phones fit: the note drops the duplicate button on tall phones and the
feature list on short ones.

유일 님 approved mockup D v2 (Nov 3 KST, "응, 구현 시작"). The horizontal
wall of posters is replaced by one card at a time:

- Mimi stands on the left (walk-cycle sprite) and names each app in a
speech bubble (apps.json "say", EN/KO). She walks in place during a
change; the bubble fades out and back with the next line.
- One tall card to her right: real app icon, tag and name, the links
(App Store, Download for Mac), one line, the real app screen, then the
night band with what it is, who it is for and the points.
- Changing apps: the card falls back in depth and fades while the next
one rises from behind and paints over it (perspective 1100px,
  -420px back, -600px in).
- Phones: card across the top, links under the screen, Mimi small at the
bottom left. Short laptops keep a 560px card and fold the band to one
row. Reduced motion keeps the static grid of cards.

Real images: Pairy icon and iPad screen from the live App Store listing;
Chalkieboard icon and lesson-home screen from 초롱 (main e90dbcc1).
Other apps show text only until their owners send images.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
/pairy/ and /ko/pairy/ replace the App Store redirect stub with a page in
the night-sky look, grown from the walk card: icon, the store tagline, App
Store and Pairy for Mac buttons, the real iPad screen, how it works in
three steps (App Store app, Mac companion with Screen Recording and
Accessibility, same Tailscale account), the six App Store screenshots
(EN and KR sets), the store's four points, and a #mac section with the
notarized download, install steps, version, requirements, size and
SHA-256. Facts come from the live App Store listing and site-data.json;
price is left out while the App Store / site price question is open.

/pairy/mac/ now points to /pairy/#mac instead of /paddleway-support/.
Both pages are in the sitemap; llms.txt and llms-full.txt link the page.
