Homepage: agents orbiting the hero, tools-you-love section, deeper CTA blue - #260
Hero orbit (HeroLogoCloud): every agent from the "Let X talk to Y" rotation rides a tilted ring orbiting the headline, one lap every 150s. Tiles on the far side of the ring shrink and dim, and tiles fade as they pass behind the copy. They fire laser bolts at each other as if chatting: each bolt re-aims every frame to land on its moving target, the target glows on impact, and about half the time it answers. Paused while the hero is off screen; a still ring under prefers-reduced-motion; left out below 700px, where the copy fills the width.
"No new IDE. / Keep the tools you love" (ToolsYouLove): heads the why band with a tight 5×4 grid of every agent we connect, most familiar first (Claude Code app and terminal, Codex CLI and app, Grok Bot, ChatGPT, OpenCode, …).
Agent marks: Codex uses its colour mark everywhere (a client component, so each copy has its own gradient id), except Codex CLI, which keeps the white mark. The Claude Code app cell uses the Claude app icon. Pi stays in the orbit and grid but leaves the "Let X talk to Y" rotation.
Why row: no heading of its own. Its first card, "You choose what goes on the relay", shows a per-session sharing switch and says messages only ask, never grant permission.
Get started: the hero button and the nav button that appears once it scrolls away both read "Get started" and open /docs/getting-started.
Nav: the GitHub star button (live count for agentworkforce/relay) sits where Log in was.
Closing call to action: "Get your team on the relay" is off the homepage; the page ends with Hosting. FinalCta stays in HomeSections for its replacement.
Primary button: .btn-primary uses new --cta-bg / --cta-hover / --cta-line tokens (#265caa / #204c8f / #1e447e), Curious Blue deepened toward a saturated blue. White text sits at about 6.6:1, up from 5.75:1, and the button stands out from the navy.
Verification
Checked in the local dev server at 1440×900 and 375×812: ring orbits and bolts land on moving targets, no ring and no horizontal scroll on phones, no console errors.
vitest run: 567 passed, 1 skipped.
tsc --noEmit: clean for changed files. lib/test/prerender-cache-key.test.ts has a pre-existing error that this PR doesn't touch.

Why these 7 scenarios were selected
A visitor can skip homepage navigation using the keyboard: HomeHero CTA changes affect the skip-navigation focus target; this checks focus on the former CTA label.
A visitor can select the real-time team coordination feature: ChannelView and HomeSections changes affect homepage feature rendering; this exercises real-time feature selection.
A visitor can select the homepage timezone coordination feature: Timezones changes affect the homepage timezone feature; this selects Flatten timezones and checks its selected state.
A visitor can select public-agent debugging using the keyboard: HomeSections changes affect homepage feature panels; this checks keyboard selection of public-agent debugging.
A visitor can return home after using skip navigation: HomeHero and RotatingHeadline changes affect hero rendering; returning home checks the homepage heading.
A workspace member can enter Cloud through Google login: Homepage nav replaces Log in with GitHub stars, affecting this scenario's Log in entry to Google authentication.
A dev account holder can inspect existing Grok Bot sessions: Homepage nav replaces Log in with GitHub stars, affecting this scenario's homepage Log in entry step.

Walkthrough
The homepage now includes an animated tool-logo cloud in the hero and a responsive tools section after the rotating headline. The hero CTA links to getting-started documentation. The primary button uses new CTA color tokens for its background and border.
Changes: Homepage Visuals
Layer / File(s)
Summary
Animated hero logo cloud web/components/homepage/HeroLogoCloud.tsx, web/components/homepage/hero-logo-cloud.module.css, web/components/homepage/HomeHero.tsx
The hero renders tool tiles with animated bolts and tile effects. The animation responds to visibility and reduced-motion settings. The hero CTA links to /docs/getting-started and uses a GitHub icon. The cloud is hidden at viewport widths of 700px or less.
Tools section and landing-page integration web/components/homepage/RotatingHeadline.tsx, web/components/homepage/ToolsYouLove.tsx, web/components/homepage/tools-you-love.module.css, web/components/homepage/HomePage.tsx
The page exports tool data and renders a section with tool logos, usage contexts, and feature points. The grid uses five columns by default, two columns at widths up to 900px, and one column at widths up to 420px.
Primary Button Color Tokens
Layer / File(s)
Summary
CTA tokens and primary button styles web/public/brand.css, web/app/globals.css
The light theme adds CTA background, hover, and line tokens. The primary button uses the CTA background and line tokens in place of primary palette tokens.
The hidden mobile animation adds small recurring overhead. The page remains usable, and this is a bounded performance concern.

A rabbit watched the tool tiles glide, Then saw bright bolts cross side to side. New colors warmed the button’s face, Tool names found their landing place. “Docs ahead!” the rabbit said, And hopped to browse before its bed.

paused when its hero leaves the viewport, and use that state to set `.slot`

- Around line 37-128: Update HeroLogoCloud so its bolt animation responds when
the reduced-motion preference changes while the page is open. Subscribe to the
media query’s change event and rerun the animation effect when the preference
changes; when reduced motion is enabled, stop the loop, clear timers, and remove
existing SVG bolts. Guard scheduling in later so an animation completion
callback cannot start a new bolt after the effect has been cleaned up.

remain fully readable at 320px and 200% text zoom; use a single column or let
each cell’s content reflow so `.name` is not clipped.

Codex CLI keeps the white mark and ChatGPT the OpenAI mark. The colour Codex mark
