Accept attributed trace tables and calibrated line profiles in physical focal-plane coordinates; propagate physical slit and detector mappings, background registration and local sky-calibration input.

Part 07/29 of the Caltech review series. Review the diff against review/xs-06-echelle-geometry; the final destination is main.

Merge after series 06: scopesim.

Review focus: SpectralTraceList; spectral_trace_list_utils.py; sky_ter_curves.py; apertures.py.

Validation: 135 geometry, trace-list, calibrated-trace, registered-background, local-SkyCalc and utility checks passed.

Source commits/snapshots: fe052a1d, c76a4c21, 93237d85, c0e0dfdc, 7ffffb87, fa2598b7 (command arrays), f9dccd8f (spectral padding), 3264a6e6, ce5c8cd5, 06f64b09.

Use a merge commit to preserve the stack ancestry and pinned commits. After this merges, retarget the next PR in this repository to its default branch. Do not squash/rebase an earlier stack entry without rebuilding its descendants and dependency pins.
