Apply arm-specific imaging throughput before wavelength integration, with private branch copies and downstream backgrounds in optical order. Carry only the final integrated ZImager delta over the spectroscopy engine.

Part 27/29 of the Caltech review series. Review the diff against review/xs-10-detector-operating-points; the final destination is main.

Merge after series 10: scopesim.

Review focus: selector_wheel.py; ter_curves.py; OpticalTrain; imaging/Moffat/ADC tests.

Validation: 74 imaging-branch/Moffat/ADC tests passed. Final ScopeSim tree is identical to b9ba36e. The retained 18-detector-array spectroscopy comparison reports bit-identical source/integrated arrays.

Source commits/snapshots: dbbba294, 38bf6c59, efa913a2, 71321def, b9ba36e6.

Use a merge commit to preserve the stack ancestry and pinned commits. After this merges, retarget the next PR in this repository to its default branch. Do not squash/rebase an earlier stack entry without rebuilding its descendants and dependency pins.
