fix(blast-radius): scan the old name for RenameField and RenameModel (#148) - #159
Conversation
…148) The code that breaks after a rename is the code still using the old name, but blast-radius scanned for the new one. Carry the old name on rename risks and scan for it; the target label keeps the new name. Signed-off-by: mayuriphad <mayuriphad656@gmail.com>

scans or combined findings cover all distinct names for both field-level and

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟠 Major | 🏗️ Heavy lift
Keep scan names separate when risks share a target.
If a RenameField and a RemoveField have the same new field name, both risks enter the same target. This assignment makes that target scan only the rename’s old name. The report then misses references to the field removed by RemoveField. Keep impact scans associated with each risk’s relevant name, or combine findings from all distinct names in the target. The same collision applies to model-level operations.

Fixes #148
blast-radiusscanned the new name forRenameField/RenameModel. After a rename, the code that breaks is the code still using the old name, so the report missed it and listed unrelated matches of the new name instead (Category.name,item.product.category.namein the issue).Changes
MigrationRiskgets an optionalold_name(defaultNone), set by theRenameFieldandRenameModelchecks. It is not added toto_dict(), so the migration-risk JSON and TS parity are unchanged.blast_radius.Targetgetsrenamed_from; for rename operations it is set fromold_name, andneedlescans it instead of the new name. The target label (catalog.product.name), cascade preview and table stats still use the new name.Tests
