Adds a Check for updates button in Settings:

  • Queries the latest GitHub release (public releases API, no token), compares its tag to the running version.
  • Up to date → 'You're on the latest (vX.Y.Z)'. Newer → 'Update available vX.Y.Z' + Download.
  • Download streams the release DMG to Downloads and opens (mounts) it; user drags Fish Notes to Applications and reopens (same Gatekeeper 'Open Anyway' as first install).

Constraint: fully silent auto-install isn't possible on an ad-hoc-signed macOS app (Squirrel.Mac requires a Developer ID signature), so this is check + guided-install rather than one-click. No new dependency (Node fetch + shell). ponytail: download shows an indeterminate spinner, not a percentage.

Settings → 'Check for updates' queries the latest GitHub release, compares to the
running version, and if newer downloads the DMG to Downloads and opens (mounts) it
to install. No signing/auto-install (ad-hoc build) — user drags to Applications.
