What this adds or changes

Each stack can be installed from Claude Code in one step, and the repo now publishes a Codex marketplace for the same stacks.

Claude Code:

claude plugin install ronny --marketplace MiniMax-AI/mcode-stack
/plugin install ronny --marketplace MiniMax-AI/mcode-stack

Use jiachen the same way. README and README_ZH lead with that path. The older marketplace-add-then-install flow, local copy, and MiniMax Code marketplace steps stay below it. stacks/ronny/README.md and stacks/jiachen/README.md include the same one-step line, which is what claude plugin validate asks for when a plugin README has none.

Codex:

codex plugin marketplace add MiniMax-AI/mcode-stack
codex plugin add ronny@mcode-stack

After the marketplace is added, the stacks also show up in the Plugins Directory. A single skill can still be copied into ~/.agents/skills/, which Codex and MiniMax Code both scan.

Manifests:

  • .agents/plugins/marketplace.json lists ronny and jiachen with local sources ./stacks/ronny and ./stacks/jiachen, plus policy.installation, policy.authentication, and a category.
  • Each stack has .claude-plugin/plugin.json (name, version, description, and author object synced from .minimax-plugin/plugin.json). Skills stay on the default skills/ scan; the manifests do not list every skill path.
  • Each stack has .codex-plugin/plugin.json for the Codex compatibility overlay, with skills at ./skills/.
  • Each stack also has a portable root plugin.json (Agent Plugins 1.0). claude plugin validate --strict still passes with those files present, so they were kept. Codex uses the root manifest for identity and the .codex-plugin/plugin.json overlay for interface metadata, because the root file does not set extensions.com.openai.
  • ronny is 0.2.4 and jiachen is 0.1.1 in the MiniMax, Claude, Codex, and portable manifests.
  • scripts/install.sh runs the Claude and/or Codex install for a stack name (default ronny). With neither CLI on PATH, it copies that stack's skill directories into ~/.agents/skills/.
  • scripts/check.mjs requires those companion manifests, when present, to keep the same name, version, description, and author as .minimax-plugin/plugin.json.

No skill bodies were rewritten. LICENSE and stacks/ronny/NOTICE.md are unchanged.

claude here is Claude Code 2.1.312. Advice is empty: both stack READMEs contain /plugin install <name> --marketplace MiniMax-AI/mcode-stack. Removing that line from a copy of the jiachen README makes validate print exactly that install line.

scripts/install.sh was run with neither CLI (skills copied into a temp HOME), with fake claude and codex binaries (the one-command install lines), and with a failing claude (exit 1, no copy).

Real usage record

This change is install wiring, not a new or edited skill. The record above is the validator and installer runs, not an agent session using a skill.

If this skill were deleted, where would the agent go wrong?

No skill was added or removed. Without the new manifests, Claude Code and Codex would still need the two-step marketplace flow or a manual copy, and Codex would have no native marketplace file in this repo.

Document the Claude one-step install, add Claude and Codex manifests next to each MiniMax plugin manifest, and publish a Codex marketplace so both products can install ronny and jiachen from this repo.
