[weyl-program] Roadmap: themes, entry points and subsumptions #2018

Open

Description

@PerAlexandersson

Roadmap for the weyl-program formalization issues (umbrella #601; router #1873). It organizes them only and makes no mathematical claims. Each theme lists its suggested in-theme order, where the issues in one layer are mutually independent; ★ marks the smallest self-contained entry points. Hubs used across themes: #1781 (cited by 47 issues), #1763, #1872, #1936.

Generated 2026-10-25 from the issue texts and a name grep of main (8072d82). The dependencies are the ones the issues state; a few are inferred and flagged.

Subsumptions stated in the issues

When working an issue, check here first. Each line is "general ⊇ special" as the general issue itself states. A special case can be closed once its general issue lands with the specialization recovered.

    Unblocked

    Subsumption chains (close the special case only after the general one lands)

    Tactic acceptance criteria

    After the tactic pruning (#2061, #2093, #2115), the row tactics serve OEIS rows only, and RealRooted has no Weyl or operator-matrix tactic.

    These issues still ask for a tactic recognizer or normalizer as an acceptance criterion: #1813, #1856, #1857, #1858, #1859, #1861, #1865, #1866, #1867 and #1871. Proposal: treat those sections as optional and defer them to the router #1873, so the theorems can land without new tactics.

    Not in RealRooted: the OEIS migrations in #1875–#1878 (A059022/3, A395497, A087727/A318107, A157012). They belong in real-rooted-oeis-proofs.
