Brain's dashboard was polling a fixed list of latest workflow runs and presenting it as overnight review. That list cannot establish activity for an arbitrary period. Scientist now owns that review on demand through its existing check-in.
Scripts Changed
board/_board.py: remove overnight collection and HTML/Markdown entry; stop deriving Brain's badge/state from workflow outcomes. Keepboard.json.overnightempty for compatibility.config/policy.yaml: remove the dashboard's fixed overnight job list.board/AGENTS.mdand targeted tests: document and verify the narrower directory/maintenance scope.Existing owner workflows and explicit diagnostic helpers remain available. This does not change any release or health-check schedule, add a collector, or create a separate ledger.
Validation: 85 board/state/GitHub-data tests pass, including a regression that fails if dashboard collection calls the overnight collector. Brain render has no overnight section or navigation link. Heart STALE solely for missing release rehearsal; no RED/YELLOW reasons.
