draft/feature/pyautoinsight/inference_setup_redesign.md. Phase1 merged Insight#14.
Explicit current authorization covers implementation and merge/close-out on
green checks of all remaining approved phases. No compute, science acceptance
or release. Tier: judge — merge mode: human-authorized in-turn merge after
independent CLEAN review, required tests and every CI job pass.
Plan
Adopt current Pulse setup navigation and shared board components: project → dataset family → model links opening a separate setup tab with deep-link/back behavior. Top page: setup/baseline/max likelihood/parameter count/start/hardware/cost and qualification, sampler disclosures below, then filtered archive/comparisons/config/evidence. Keep all archived and unmapped records reachable. Use project-owned v2 catalogue, pin reader after producer publication; retain no-JS fallback and safe links. Match shared responsive width, hero, top prompt/copy icon and tables; verify browser desktop/mobile. Add a Sampler candidates section rendering curated public-literature records with expected application vs measured status and copyable prompts. Literature data comes from independent primary-source research (phase5); never expose private Memory excerpts. Test DOM navigation, safe rendering, filtering, malformed records, fixture v1/v2 compatibility and copy behavior; full suite/offline checks. Publish and verify Pages with actual producer evidence.

Setup-first project/dataset-family/model navigation opens new tabs with qualified baseline metrics, hardware/start conditions and sampler disclosures. History and comparisons are setup-scoped; unmapped evidence remains accessible. Direct tabs retain failed-refresh, stale, cached and local-preview qualifications. Shared dashboard presentation controls size, hero and top copyable orchestration prompt. Public sampler candidates carry primary sources, expected uses, integration/benchmark qualifications and editable copyable investigation prompts.
Registry now reads the merged producer v2 catalogue at de37acfe: 56 records across 11 declared setups, no selected accepted baseline or existing prepared problem. No science result, runtime estimate or acceptance was invented. Cold/warm/resume stays independent of compilation/cache state.
Validation: 168 tests; Ruff/format/offline schema/feed checks; independent CLEAN and actual-producer Chromium desktop/mobile/new-tab checks. Exact-head77e4d21 CI lint37752083713 and refresh37752083675 every test/job passed. Publication and live checks recorded below after deployment. Heart STALE only: release validation incomplete: no rehearsal for current source; no RED/YELLOW reasons. Current user instruction explicitly authorized all-phase implementation and merge on green.

The initial push deployment was superseded by this successful refresh dispatch.
