## 2026-10-10 — Li composite lens models

Verified arXiv:2602.20889v2 and arXiv:2607.08576v1 and added canonical
bibliography entries `Li2026Jackpot` and `Li2026WFI2033`. Added concise claim
support in the bulge–halo and time-delay source collections. Explicitly
distinguished the WFI2033 cosmological-prior analysis from its exploratory
H0 inference, which does not yield a robust standalone constraint. No PDFs
were stored in the repository.

## 2026-10-11 — DSPL references for the Euclid manuscript

- Added missing canonical entries `Sahu2025DSPL` (ApJ 991, 72) and `EuclidQ1DSPL` (A&A 711, A29), checking DOI, arXiv ID, and title for duplicates.
- Added compact support and scope notes in `sources/gr-cosmology.md`, distinguishing the AGEL cosmography measurement from the Euclid Q1 candidate-discovery and modelling study.
- Verified against arXiv:2504.00656, arXiv:2503.15327, and their published records. Author confirmed that “Sheu” meant Sahu and that the Li reference was the Euclid Q1 paper.

## Li 2026 — Jackpot stellar–dark-matter decomposition

**Canonical BibTeX key:** `Li2026Jackpot`
**Reference:** Li et al. 2026, MNRAS 548, stag683; doi:10.1093/mnras/stag683; arXiv:2602.20889 (v2).
**Concepts:** [[bulge-halo-decomposition]], [[mass-sheet-degeneracy]], [[mass-models]]

**Supports:**
- Models J0946+1006 using MGE-traced stellar mass, allowing a radial mass-to-light gradient, plus a generalised NFW dark halo.
- The two source planes provide additional constraints on radial structure and mass-sheet freedom.
- Within the tested models, the preferred stellar normalisation is Salpeter-like, with an approximately constant mass-to-light ratio and an NFW-compatible inner halo slope.

**Use when:**
- Citing a recent composite mass analysis of a double-source-plane lens or motivating stellar–dark-matter decomposition with Euclid lenses.

**Do not use for:**
- A universal IMF or halo-profile conclusion for all ellipticals, or a model-independent removal of every mass-sheet degeneracy.

## Sahu 2025 — AGEL150745+052256 double-source-plane cosmography

**Canonical BibTeX key:** `Sahu2025DSPL`
**Reference:** ApJ, 991, 72; https://doi.org/10.3847/1538-4357/adf442; https://arxiv.org/abs/2504.00656
**Concepts:** [[lens-equation]], [[mass-sheet-degeneracy]]

**Supports:**
- Modelling AGEL150745+052256 with HST imaging and Keck spectroscopy constrains a cosmological distance ratio sensitive to matter density and dark energy.
- Combining this system with the Jackpot lens and CMB measurements demonstrates complementarity between DSPL cosmography and other cosmological probes.

**Use when:**
- Citing an observed galaxy-scale DSPL cosmography measurement beyond Collett and Auger's Jackpot analysis.

**Do not use for:**
- Claims that DSPL geometry alone removes all mass-model degeneracies or that the system measures a time-delay distance.

## Euclid Collaboration (Li) 2026 — Q1 double-source-plane candidates

**Canonical BibTeX key:** `EuclidQ1DSPL`
**Reference:** A&A, 711, A29; https://doi.org/10.1051/0004-6361/202554543; https://arxiv.org/abs/2503.15327
**Concepts:** [[euclid-q1]], [[lens-finding]], [[lens-equation]]

**Supports:**
- Euclid Q1 yielded four new galaxy-scale DSPL candidates, with lens models estimating their cosmological scaling factors.
- The study motivates larger DSPL samples as probes of galaxy structure and cosmological distance ratios.

**Use when:**
- Motivating Euclid's contribution to finding and modelling DSPLs for future cosmography.

**Do not use for:**
- A completed dark-energy measurement from these four candidates or an assertion that every candidate is spectroscopically confirmed.

## Li 2026 — WFI2033 composite time-delay modelling

**Canonical BibTeX key:** `Li2026WFI2033`
**Reference:** Li et al. 2026, arXiv:2607.08576 (v1); doi:10.48550/arXiv.2607.08576.
**Concepts:** [[bulge-halo-decomposition]], [[time-delay-cosmography]], [[mass-sheet-degeneracy]]

**Supports:**
- Uses JWST/NIRCam imaging and measured quasar time delays to fit MGE-traced stellar mass with a free radial mass-to-light gradient plus a generalised NFW halo.
- Tests two external cosmological priors; within each, time delays restrict mass-sheet freedom and allow the stellar and dark components to be separated.
- Explores cosmological inference without stellar kinematics, but finds that the H0–halo-scale-radius degeneracy prevents a robust standalone H0 constraint.

**Use when:**
- Discussing composite lens models for time-delay lenses, their cosmological dependence, or the need for additional information in H0 inference.

**Do not use for:**
- Evidence for a precise, independent H0 measurement or for eliminating mass-sheet freedom using imaging alone.
