The generated Memory template currently inherits a Brain checkout as
YOURORG/PyAutoBrain, so its validation fails before checking content. Generate a standalone workflow instead: keep citation, structure and wikilink validation plus their 28 unit tests, with only this repository checked out. Full board tests still belong to an adopted installation with Brain available.Closes #516. Repairs the generator used by PyAutoMemory-template#3; the two template sync PRs must be regenerated after this change lands.
Scripts Changed
scripts/spawn.py: generate the standalone Memory content-validation workflow.docs/pyautobrain/spawn_spec.md: update Memory rule 8.tests/test_spawn_template_contract.py: protect the fresh-repository contract when the source workflow requires Brain.Validation
make validate, wikilink report, and all three content validator suites (28 passed).git diff --check: passed.Heart RED development override
The live human authorized the specific CI fixes and release-blocker development on 2026-10-26: “Authorize development override”, answering the question naming Hands #315 and Memory-template #3. Development shipping only; no release or rehearsal through RED. Current-turn merge authorization was given separately to the parent session and remains subject to green required checks.
Exact published RED reasons:
Passed branch gates are listed above. This change does not clear those Heart findings or assert release readiness.
