Overview

Part of #87: one PyAutoLabs-level page (PyAutoScientist/AI_OPTIONS.md) now describes every AI route for the science assistants: Claude Code and Codex (recommended, paid), GitHub Copilot CLI and OpenCode (free), and Claude.ai/ChatGPT chat with the GitHub connector at the bottom. This PR is the PyAutoScientist leg: docs only, no library or script changes, no notebooks regenerated.

Scripts Changed

None (README/docs only).

Files changed

  • README.md | 2 +

Validation

  • Heart readiness at ship time: YELLOW, reasons verbatim: "manifest drift: workspace checkouts (manifest ↔ disk) — 1 mismatch(es) vs PyAutoMind/repos.yaml"; "release validation stale: source moved since rehearsal (PyAutoLens)". Neither touches this docs-only change; flagged here for the human (decision-taken, do not auto-merge).
  • Dangling-reference grep for the deleted files is clean; CI (wiki-currency / boundary where present) is the check.
  • Merge order: PyAutoScientist first (the page the others link to), then the rest in any order. autolens_assistant follows in a later PR once #161 merges.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

One canonical page covering Claude Code, Codex, the free routes
(GitHub Copilot CLI and OpenCode), troubleshooting, Colab and chat
with a GitHub connector. Linked from the README next to the AI policy.
