Solid 2 support for @tanstack/solid-hotkeys, set up as a pre-release line the way @tanstack/solid-query 6 and @tanstack/solid-router 2 were. It targets a solid-v2-pre branch, so main stays on Solid 1.
The primitives keep their API. Effects that track reactive options are split: the compute half reads the options and the effect half applies them, which replaces the old untrack around bindings.update. HotkeysProvider publishes its store in onSettled, activates its scope through an effect that returns the cleanup, and reads appHotkeys/customHotkeys untracked at creation, as documented.
HotkeysProvider renders the Solid 2 context with createComponent instead of JSX, so the package peers only on solid-js (>=2.0.0-rc.19 <3.0.0).
The internal useSelector (added when the adapter dropped @tanstack/store) creates its signal with ownedWrite: true, because store updates arrive from outside the owner, and wraps function values so they are stored rather than computed.
createHotkeyRegistrations now returns a store reconciled by registration id. Before, each change produced fresh view objects, so <For> rebuilt every row (Solid 2's dev build warns about this with UNSTABLE_LIST_IDENTITY).
The tests call flush() after writes, since Solid 2 batches reads until the next flush. Writes now happen outside createRoot.
The ten Solid examples move to @solidjs/web and @solidjs/vite-plugin, and to Solid 2 APIs (onSettled, omit, context as provider, two-argument effects, lowercase tabindex/colspan). They drop the devtools panel, because @tanstack/solid-devtools and @tanstack/solid-hotkeys-devtools stay on Solid 1 until TanStack Devtools has a Solid 2 entry. The installation docs say so.
Changesets enters pre mode with the rc tag, and the release workflow also runs on *-pre branches. solid-hotkeys gets a minor bump (0.x), giving 0.19.0-rc.0 (Solid 1 users stay on 0.18.x). sherif ignores solid-js, since the devtools package stays on Solid 1.
Rebased on main after #211 (the adapter no longer depends on @tanstack/solid-store, so this isn't blocked on it) and pnpm-lock.yaml is regenerated. Locally: @tanstack/solid-hotkeys tests 40/41, plus tsc, eslint, tsdown/publint, verify-package, knip, sherif, test:docs, and tsc && vite build and eslint for every Solid example. Before the rebase, each example also ran in Chromium on the dev server with no console errors or Solid dev warnings.
The one failing test (should have access to latest state values in callback) comes from a happy-dom bug: element.textContent = 0 leaves the element empty instead of "0". A text child whose first value is the number 0 then fails on update. We're looking at handling it on the Solid side as well.
I have tested code changes locally with pnpm run test:pr, or these tests do not apply to this pull request.

Merge Risk: Low · up to 08802
This change adds Solid 2 support to the Solid hotkeys adapter. Standalone copies of the examples would install the Solid 1 adapter next to Solid 2 until their version ranges are updated after publication. The registrations accessor also does not subscribe when passed directly as a tracking source. Both problems are narrow and fixable, so the change is mergeable with follow-up.

Publish the Solid 2 store release before merging.
@tanstack/solid-store@0.12.0-rc.0 is not available from npm, so a fresh checkout can fail to resolve the new dependency. The tracked lockfile also still pins ^0.11.2 and Solid 1 dependencies, so a frozen install can reject the changed manifest.
After publishing a compatible version, regenerate and commit pnpm-lock.yaml.

Port @tanstack/solid-hotkeys and the Solid examples to solid-js 2.0
(rc.19+): reactive options are tracked by split effects, HotkeysProvider
publishes its store in onSettled and reads its create-time props
untracked, renders the Solid 2 context without JSX, and
createHotkeyRegistrations reconciles its views by id. The internal store
selector writes with ownedWrite, since store updates arrive from outside
the owner. Tests flush after writes. The examples drop the devtools
panel, which stays on Solid 1 for now.
Enters changesets pre mode (rc) and lets the release workflow run on
*-pre branches.

Make the returned accessor read the store.

Make the returned accessor read the store.
() => registrations returns the store proxy without reading a store property, so calling the accessor tracks nothing. Code that passes the accessor directly as a tracking source, such as createEffect(registrations, ...), runs once and does not re-run when registrations change. The previous code returned the selector accessor, which did track changes. Reading the array inside the accessor restores tracking and keeps the keyed row identities, because store reads return the same item proxies for the same ids.

line 33:
Update the returned accessor in createHotkeyRegistrations to read the
registrations store contents rather than return its proxy unchanged, so
consumers track registration changes; preserve the existing row proxies and
keyed identities.

Pin the Solid 2 adapter in standalone examples.
Each Solid example declares "@tanstack/solid-hotkeys": "^0.18.0". Outside the pnpm workspace, npm resolves this range from the registry. Solid 2 prereleases such as 0.18.0-rc.n or 0.19.0-rc.n do not satisfy ^0.18.0. A standalone install therefore cannot select the Solid 2 adapter. It resolves only to stable 0.18.x releases, which belong to the Solid 1 line. Those releases can conflict with solid-js^2.0.0-rc.19. Local workspace linking can hide this mismatch.
After the Solid 2 adapter publishes, pin each example to its exact prerelease version. Do not use a caret prerelease range such as ^0.18.0-rc.0. That range also matches the stable 0.18.0 release.
