PR #848's port carried every STEP of land.sh and dropped its LIFECYCLE with every gate green. The owner stated four rules in that session and none had a written home. Each now has a row, and mem:workflow/landing-loop gains a section that points at them rather than restating them; mem:core's trigger line gains "porting a lifecycle".

  • CLOUD-1558 crash-only recovery
  • CLOUD-1559 line-by-line reading of a retired program (owns this edit)
  • CLOUD-1565 no committed-versus-dirty distinction outside commit-message gates
  • CLOUD-1566 one PR as an efficiency, not a commandment

Two files under .serena/memories/, written through Serena. No code, no config, no closing key: CLOUD-1559's mechanism is a separate change.

PR #848's port carried every STEP of `land.sh` and dropped its LIFECYCLE with
every gate green. The owner stated four rules in that session and none had a
written home: crash-only recovery, line-by-line reading of a retired program,
no committed-versus-dirty distinction outside commit-message gates, and one PR
as an efficiency rather than a commandment. Each now has a row (CLOUD-1558,
CLOUD-1559, CLOUD-1565, CLOUD-1566) and this section is the pointer to it,
never the argument, so the memory stays inside its ceiling and the row stays
the authority.

`mem:core`'s trigger line gains "porting a lifecycle", which is the moment a
reader needs this and the moment nothing routed them here.

📝 Walkthrough

Walkthrough

The landing-loop memory now documents four owner decisions for porting a lifecycle from a retired program. It also records composition, compensation, and sleep-policy details. The core memory trigger now includes lifecycle porting alongside lease, CI-wait, and suites workflows.

Merge Risk: ⚪ Minimal · up to 12223

This updates lifecycle-porting guidance and its discovery trigger without changing runtime behavior. No current merge-readiness risk remains.
