CeSIUM is the Software Engineering Student Association at the University of Minho, run by student volunteers since 1995. We represent and promote our course, create opportunities that enrich student life, and help prepare students for their professional careers.
From academic initiatives to social events, everything we do is made possible by our volunteers and five departments:
- CAOS · Open Source - Develops and maintains software, platforms, and tools for CeSIUM and the student community.
- DMC · Marketing & Content - Shapes our visual identity, communications, and social media.
- DSP · Social & Partnerships - Builds partnerships, benefits, and connections with the wider community.
- PED · Pedagogical - Organizes study sessions, talks, and workshops to support learning.
- REC · Recreational - Brings students together through social events, sports, and other activities.
- Software & Open Source - Developing and maintaining tools, platforms, and projects for our community.
- Education & Technology - Promoting programming through workshops, talks, competitions, and hands-on learning.
- Community & Events - Connecting students, organizing initiatives, and creating spaces to collaborate and share ideas.
Our code is public, and contributions are welcome. Explore our GitHub repositories, contribute to our projects, or become a collaborator and get involved in the community.
