Read this against the tree, not just the lockfile. @stryker-mutator/vitest-runner 10.1.1's only behavioural change in the test-selection path (stryker-js#6246, commit 6ad4adb) wraps the name filter as (?:<names>)\s*$ in packages/vitest-runner/src/vitest-test-runner.ts:242 — it still joins test names with plain spaces, so the separator bug this repo works around (stryker-js#6210) is not fixed upstream and the shim in vitest.mutation.config.mjs is still required.
Checked the interaction: the shim rewrites each literal space in the assigned pattern to (?: > | ); the new \s*$ suffix contains no literal space, so it survives the rewrite, and end-anchoring against Vitest's fullTestName ("suite > test") still matches. The anchor actually helps — it stops a mutant's filter for "calc add" from also running "calc add negative".
The mutation check is path-filtered off on this PR, so CI didn't exercise this; the above is from reading both sources. Looks correct to me. Not approving — that signature belongs to a human.

Looks correct to me — dev-dependencies only, checks green, lockfile consistent with the package.json ranges.
One interaction worth knowing about, verified rather than guessed: this bumps @stryker-mutator/vitest-runner 10.0.0→10.1.1, and 10.1.1 ships the fix for stryker-mutator/stryker-js#6210 — the test-name-separator bug that vitest.mutation.config.mjs (the stryker-vitest5-test-name-separator plugin) works around. In 10.1.1 the runner builds testNamePattern from the " > "-joined full test name with a \s*$ anchor (packages/vitest-runner/src/vitest-test-runner.ts:303-308 at v10.1.1), so the shim's space→(?: > | ) rewrite now operates on patterns that already contain " > ". I checked the combination: the rewritten regex still matches the vitest-5 fullTestName (backtracking through the alternation), so the nightly mutation job — which is skipped on this PR and will first exercise 10.1.1 after merge — should keep selecting tests correctly.
Suggestion (not a defect): once this lands, the shim and its "unfixed in 10.0.0, until that fix ships" comment in vitest.mutation.config.mjs can be retired in a follow-up, confirmed against a nightly mutation run on 10.1.1.
