Summary

• What: version 0.5.0: __version__, a dated [0.5.0] - 2026-10-29 CHANGELOG section with compare links, the regenerated validation page, and CITATION.cff (still said 0.2.0).
• Why: ships phased Xbar/S and phase_statistics() (Phased (staged) limits for Xbar and S charts #144), the received-order X chart (Expose the received-order X/mR chart: formulate(response=...) with no time or factors #129), the Xbar/S n column (Pooled-subset Xbar/S chart_table drops the subgroup label and n #143) and the Staged Charts tutorial (Add a Staged Charts tutorial and make the 0.5 examples runnable (#144) #157).
• Scope: release metadata only; no code change.

Checks

• python validation/e2e_bishop_report.py: 1547 pass, 0 fail, 4 pending (unchanged); only the page's version line changes
• pytest tests/: 2647 passed, 7 skipped

After merge

1. Signed tag v0.5.0 on the merge commit and push; publish.yml uploads to PyPI.
2. Check https://pypi.org/project/processbehavior/0.5.0/ and run the README quickstart from a fresh venv.
3. GitHub Release v0.5.0 with the notes.
4. App: pin processbehavior==0.5.0 and delete the vendored wheels/ preview build.
