I'm a software developer based in Cairo. I build web and mobile applications, recommendation algorithms and market-data research tools.
Main technologies: C++, Python, TypeScript, SQL, React, Next.js, Node.js and PostgreSQL.
Computer Science and Data Science studies (double major), American University in Cairo, 2022–2026.
April–August 2026
I proposed and built the operations system for my family's pharmaceutical business as its sole developer. Staff use it daily for production, inventory and finance.
- Built React/Next.js and TypeScript interfaces with Prisma/PostgreSQL, adapting batch workflows and role-specific screens to staff feedback.
- Used conditional SQL updates and transactions to keep warehouse stock changes and movement records consistent. Built a Python/FastAPI receipt reader using Google Cloud Vision to extract Arabic and English payment details into Google Sheets.
June 2025–September 2026
I initiated the project after noticing gaps in the university's bus service and built Flutter/Dart applications for riders, drivers and administrators.
- Implemented registration, route selection, driver GPS capture and rider maps. A Node.js service batches remaining stops into Google Directions requests and stores shared ETA results in PostgreSQL.
- Worked with AUC's team on the OutSystems integration handover, providing code, data models and API contracts. Registration has been used; the wider tracking rollout is pending.
VibeSwipe — music discovery prototype
- Built Next.js and React Native/Expo clients with PostgreSQL playlist co-occurrence retrieval and Spotify/Last.fm integrations.
- Implemented a C++ ranker using weighted preference signals and breadth-first search over a genre graph. Connected it through a Node.js API with subprocess limits, timeouts and a TypeScript fallback, checking scores and ordering against the original implementation.
Market Atlas — market-data research
- Built Python/pandas pipelines for bid/ask tick processing and candle reconstruction, with min/max segment trees to find the first stop or target crossing in a time window.
- Implemented numerical rule mining, lagged sequence analysis and NumPy feature-interaction scoring, with rolling and expanding-window evaluation. The repository includes a synthetic-data demo and documents the research limitations.
Shipment Management and Lab Inventory: Python/Odoo ORM workflows, QWeb/XML reports and a JavaScript OWL inventory dashboard, with Docker Compose for local development.
