ApiProber advertises OS-independent support, but its CI only exercises Linux and Windows. Add a manually dispatched Python 3.12 job on the standard GitHub-hosted macOS 15 ARM64 image. The existing eight Linux/Windows Python 3.10-3.13 cells remain unchanged.

The Mac job creates a fresh per-run venv, installs the editable package and test extra, verifies Darwin/arm64, compiles sources, checks both module/console CLI entry points and runs the complete existing pytest suite. It does not run for pull_request or push events. Checkout credentials are not persisted.

Validation: YAML parsed, original matrix preserved, git diff --check passed. Exact-head PR CI and manual native Mac execution have been started and require terminal readback. No runtime code, product version, publication or integrated mirror change.

Author model: gpt-6.1-sol (Codex). Draft pending independent review; merges disabled. Based directly on main cbc9ef8.

Use the organization Mac Studio runner with an isolated per-run venv; preserve the existing hosted matrix.

Thanks for contributing!

The organization runner group excludes public repositories; preserve its policy and use the standard macOS 15 ARM64 image with an architecture assertion.

Independent MULTI-BOT review (Codex / gpt-6.1-sol; separate authoring and review instances).

Exact head: d59d869d9401827e82f01c8db5f9cc19269a24a6, default base main at cbc9ef826b0c2212f69537df2376a4b9766f32d7. Read the entire one-file diff and complete workflow in an isolated checkout, plus package/test-extra and CLI entry-point declarations. No blocking finding within this CI-only change.

The existing eight Linux/Windows Python 3.10-3.13 cells are unchanged. The added job runs only for workflow_dispatch in this repository, uses the hosted macos-15 runner rather than changing the organization's self-hosted runner policy, selects arm64 Python 3.12, and asserts Darwin/arm64. Its venv uses RUNNER_TEMP plus run_id/run_attempt; GITHUB_PATH/GITHUB_ENV apply to the subsequent step. Editable test-extra installation, source compilation, both CLI help entry points and the existing full test suite are exercised. Checkout credential persistence is disabled for the new job. No runtime code or version is changed.

Native evidence at the exact head: PR run 38740279740 has eight successful matrix jobs and the correctly SKIPPED dispatch-only Mac job. Manual run 38740275018 has all nine jobs successful, including Native Mac ARM64. Read the actual run events, source heads, runner labels, job steps and Mac log. That Mac log reports Darwin/arm64, successful CLI/compile commands, and 105 passed / 2 skipped: the live-network opt-in case and the Windows-only process-list contract. No new local tests, live API probing, manual security probes, workflow dispatch or self-hosted Mac workload was started for this review. CodeQL's two exact-head jobs are also successful; that is existing CI evidence, not a new security audit.

The PR's SKIPPED job is not relabeled as SUCCESS: the workflow intentionally excludes it on pull_request, while the separate exact-head dispatch proves it executes successfully when requested. The current default branch is unprotected, has no required status contexts and no branch rules. Ready/merge still require fresh identity, locks, exact head, unchanged default base, clean merge and no change requests. A clean three-way merge-tree changes only .github/workflows/tests.yml and preserves the reviewed workflow blob; git diff --check passed. No separate sign-off requirement was found in the project's contribution surface.

The earlier merges-disabled text describes the restricted authoring profile; current full-profile authority is checked independently. No release, installation, OneDrive mirror adoption, physical device acceptance or production runtime activation is claimed.
