Summary
The lite mobile app counts as web on its page visits, and any signed API request it makes would count as other, so the People by app chart can't show it. This gives it its own flag, line and export field.
Changes
user_active_daysgetslite_mobile_app. Past rows stay as they are: the app only has internal testers so far.DevNullLite/in the user agent are lite, and so is the API when the device'sapp_idisMobileAuthorization::LiteMobileAppId. The user agent is self-declared, which is fine because only metrics read it.POST /api/v1/devicesnow puts the new device on the request, so its sign-in counts for the right app. This also moves a NativePHP sign-in from other to mobile. It usesrequest()because the form request is a copy, and an attribute set on it never reachesUpdateLastSeenAt.liteline in the next colour of the palette, which is why it comes afterother. Magenta only passes the colour-blind checks in that order.active_daysentry getslite_mobile_app, andschema_versiongoes to 8.PRODUCT_METRICS.md, dated 2026-11-07, so adjust it if this merges later. The privacy policy already says "which of our apps" andKNOWLEDGE_BASE.mdstays accurate, so neither changes.New column
Visual evidence
Local site with seeded data, Chromium. Layout shift is 0 in every capture, with no page errors or horizontal overflow.
Device verification
No mobile interaction changed: this is an admin chart that gains one line, so the phone width was only checked by emulation in Chromium. The lite app itself wasn't run. Its web view is covered by tests sending its user agent.
Limitations
apps/mobiledoesn't sign API requests or send anapp_idyet, so only the web view's user agent counts today. The device path takes effect once native sign-in ships.PRODUCT_METRICS.mdsays so, not the page.Summary by CodeRabbit
