Issue
FB-5262
Summary
Dependabot fails while fetching
docs/requirements.txtbecause its./requirement resolves to the docs directory instead of the SDK project root. Remove that requirement and install the SDK explicitly from the root in Read the Docs configuration, preserving SDK dependencies for documentation builds.Validation
docs/requirements.txtand the SDK in a clean temporary virtual environment (Python 3.15).pip checkandgit diff --checkpassed.python.installschema. The hosted Dependabot update must run after merge to verify the original job.Note
Low Risk
Documentation and CI dependency wiring only; no runtime SDK or application behavior changes.
Overview
Fixes Dependabot failing on
docs/requirements.txtby removing the./path dependency that was resolved relative to the docs folder instead of the SDK root.Read the Docs now installs the package explicitly via
python.install(pipwithpath: .) whiledocs/requirements.txtonly lists Sphinx theme deps, so doc builds still get the SDK and its dependencies without the ambiguous local path in requirements.Reviewed by Cursor Bugbot for commit b589da8.
