Goal

Complete the demo cleanup follow-up, Part of fizzyedit/work#304 (plans#66 step 7).

What changed and why

The base already includes all three implementation changes in 3b3d42e (#876): Demo.enterScene owns an Arrangement rather than a partial Snapshot; Keyframe.layout is removed, with the binary field reserved as padding so older versions remain readable; both script skip helpers wait for idle before reading tags. No duplicate implementation or format version bump is needed.
Added a behavioral regression test that drives scripts through the sequencer for both skip directions after a gesture, holds the stage busy with stale tags, then publishes fresh tags and verifies the wrong branch never runs.

How it was verified

All 79 std-only tape tests pass. Removing both skip helpers' idle waits makes the new test fail (expected holding, found yielded); restoring them passes. See GATES.md for build gate results and sandbox-only socket failures. No visual change.

Not done / follow-ups

No implementation items declined. Publishing and commits are left to the harness. Private plan/design sources were unavailable in this offline checkout; scope follows the supplied task and local code.
