What article on docs.github.com is affected?

https://docs.github.com/en/pull-requests/how-tos/merge-and-close-pull-requests/merging-stacked-pull-requests

What part(s) of the article would you like to see updated?

The note in the "Merge requirements" section says:

Auto-merge is not supported for stacked pull requests.

Since stacked pull requests became generally available on October 6, 2026, auto-merge works with stacks: stacked pull requests "can be set to merge automatically once the repository's merge requirements are met" (https://github.blog/changelog/2026-10-06-stacked-pull-requests-generally-available/).

Expected outcome: remove that bullet, or replace it with a note that auto-merge for stacks is rolling out gradually, whichever the team prefers while the rollout finishes.

Additional information

The changelog says auto-merge for stacks is rolling out over a few weeks, so some readers may not have it yet. I have a branch ready (https://github.com/nickpdean/docs/tree/claude/stacked-prs-auto-merge-docs-rm35z8) and will open the pull request once this has the help wanted label.
