Review comments at @dbkit/sqlite/busy.go:
- Around line 184-198: Update busyConn.QueryContext to keep the span returned by
c.during(ctx) active for the lifetime of successful query rows instead of
clearing it on return. Wrap the returned driver.Rows so its Close method clears
the span, and clear the span immediately on query errors or when the context has
ended before returning.
Review comments at @dbkit/sqlite/CHANGELOG.md:
- Line 27: Rewrite the prepared-statement clause in the Fixed entry to state
that its run depends on the driver’s context handling and can stop within one
BusyPoll after its context ends; leave the statement, transaction,
snapshot-checkpoint, and BeginTx clauses intact.
Review comments at @dbkit/sqlite/options.go:
- Around line 41-42: Update the BusyPoll documentation in the BusyPoll field
comment to state that SQLite may wait up to one BusyPoll during connection
opening without honoring the context, delaying other connection opens. Add the
same trade-off to the changelog.

- Around line 159-163: Update busyConn.during and busyWait span tracking so
ending a call restores the newest span that is still open instead of clearing
the active span or restoring a closed predecessor. Add a regression test that
leaves rows open, runs ExecContext on the same connection, and verifies
internalSpanDone still returns the rows’ Done channel.

What
Connectfails with a named error, and a test fails once the driver offers a busy handler of its own.Connecttries a busy open again everyBusyPolluntilBusyTimeoutor the end of its context, so a new file that another process is switching to WAL no longer fails at once.BusyPoll. This is a breaking change. Why
A write behind another writer waited out the whole busy timeout even after its context ended. The first open of a new file failed busy while another process switched it to WAL.
