Browser extension allowing you to download:

• music sheets - PDF
• midi - MID

⚠️ Doesn't work with official scores. ⚠️

But when it's possible to download a MIDI file, you can convert it using https://webmscore-pwa.librescore.org/ (by LibreScore developers) to get PDF, MusicXML, MSCZ, MP3, and more. The same method can be used to get all pages of an official music sheet.

Installation

Automatic Installation

1. Install the extension from Firefox Addons or Microsoft Edge Addons

Manual installation

Chromium browsers (Chrome, Edge, Opera, Brave, Vivaldi, ...)

1. Go to the latest release
2. Download the ZIP file musescore-downloader-0.x.x-manifest-v3.zip and extract it to a safe location where you won’t accidentally delete it, as the extension won’t load if the files are removed.
3. Go to the browser extension manager chrome://extensions/
4. Enable Developer mode. In Google Chrome at the top right, in Microsoft Edge on the left side.
5. The Load unpacked option should appear. Click on it and navigate to the directory where you extracted the files. If you see a message like The manifest is missing, double-check that you’re selecting the correct directory containing the extracted files.
6. That's it! Extension is now ready to use 🎉

Firefox

1. Go to the latest release
2. Click on the XPI the file musescore-downloader-0.x.x-manifest-v2.xpi
3. A bubble with text and button should appear. Click on Continue to Installation and Add
4. That's it! Extension is now ready to use 🎉

Usage

1. Go to Musescore.com
2. Open a music sheet
3. Click to Music Score Downloader icon in the extensions tab
4. Select what you want to do
