…patch] Parameter.DefaultValue was target-language source text written out verbatim, so the README's own DefaultValue = "False" produced C#, C++ and JavaScript that failed to compile or threw, and no spelling of a flag worked in every target. It is now an Expression, written by each generator's own literal writer; C, Go and Rust note it in a comment with any */ broken apart. Parameter.ParseDefaultValue and FormatDefaultValue are the text form YAML and the editor field use, so documents written while it was text still read.
