CoderPad practice

A practice project for CoderPad and CoderPad AI Assist. Use it before your interview, so that the tools are familiar on the day.

The practice is optional. Nobody reviews it. The practice project is not related to the interview question.

The interview format

The interview has two parts, both in CoderPad:

1. A design discussion (about 45 minutes).
2. A live build (about 60 minutes).

In both parts, you can use CoderPad AI Assist: Chat, Claude Code, or Codex. Use AI as you do at work.

How to practice

Practice pad. If you received a practice pad link, open it. The pad has this project and AI Assist. The Instructions pane has Part 1 and Part 2.

On your computer. If you did not receive a link:

1. Clone this repo and open typescript/ (Node 20+) or python/ (Python 3.10+).
2. Follow Part 1 and Part 2. Use your own AI coding tool for the AI Assist steps.
3. To try the CoderPad editor, use the free CoderPad sandbox. The sandbox has no AI Assist.
