Thank you for your improvements. I have a question: Are you planning to stop at this point and leave the remaining work for other contributors to complete, or do you have the time, energy, and capability to tackle all aspects of this task on your own? |

Summary
First architectural step toward #359: a deterministic “prepare publication” flow that combines multiple Markdown files into a single structured draft and generates a table of contents. AI-assisted editing and final export are intentionally out of scope for this PR — this establishes the pipeline and UI entry point.
Changes
POST /api/markdown/publication/prepareendpoint that accepts an ordered list of files and returnscombined, toc, andfile_count. Reuses the existing_extract_outlinehelper for heading extraction (ATX, Setext, fenced-code aware).Markdown.preparePublicationwrapper routed through the shared authenticated backend proxy (proxy_backend_request), matching the existingMarkdown.wordCountpattern.PublicationPanellets the user select open tabs, reorder them, and preview the combined draft + generated TOC. Toggle button added to the toolbar via the existingPANELSmechanism.preparePublicationhelper covered with the repo'snode --testrunner (mocked shared API, empty-selection rejection). Not included (future PRs)
