Mark modules and features removed in Prebid.js 11.0 - #6830
Conversation
Mark module, bidder, userId and publisher API pages for modules removed in Prebid.js 11.0 (adpod, categoryTranslation, dfpAdpod, freeWheelAdserverVideo, express, intersectionRtdProvider, paapi, paapiForGpt, topLevelPaapi, dmdIdSystem, optable and ringieraxelspringer bid adapters) as removed, and add removal notes to long-form video and PAAPI guides. Remove the stale ad pod how-to from the bidder adapter guide. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Keep status markup out of the front-matter title
When a user opens this page, the new <span> is not rendered as a badge in the browser title: _includes/head--common.html:15 interpolates page.title directly inside <title>, where nested HTML is treated as literal text. This page and the other previously plain API titles changed in this patch will therefore expose the raw span markup in tab, bookmark, and search titles; set a plain head_title or render the badge outside the title value.

Fixed in 1499d0e: each of the five API pages with a badge in title now sets a plain head_title (e.g. pbjs.getPAAPIConfig(options) [Removed in 11.0] for Header Bidding), so the browser title has no markup. The badge stays in title for the API reference listing, matching the existing [Alpha] convention.

@patmmccann can you kick claude to fix the merge conflicts 🙈 |
Prebid.js 11.0 removed adpod, categoryTranslation, dfpAdpod/gamAdpod, freeWheelAdserverVideo, express, intersectionRtdProvider, paapi, paapiForGpt, topLevelPaapi, dmdIdSystem, and the optable and ringieraxelspringer bid adapters (see the Prebid 11 notes). Many of their docs pages still presented them as available, and most were still offered on the download page.
This PR:
enable_download: falseandpbjs_version_notes: removed in 11.0on the affected module, bidder and userId pages, so they drop off the download page and module lists, and adds a "removed in Prebid.js 11.0" note to each.adServers.freewheel.getTargeting,adServers.gam.buildAdpodVideoUrl,getPAAPIConfig,getPAAPIBidsandsetPAAPIConfigForGPTAPI pages as removed in 11.0.adpodfrom the list of video contexts. The heading is kept so existing anchors still work.Pages are kept rather than deleted so publishers on older versions can still use them. Prebid Server docs and historical release notes are unchanged.
