A visitor deciding whether rig-c fits a project had to read every package page to learn what a "turn" is. /docs/capabilities/ is a compact matrix by route — cut-out 2D, 2D retarget with depth cues, Core depth-driven rotation, the released Parts depth-sheet head turn, the standalone preview bundle — with required input, producing package and version, controls, output and the playback record that verifies it, marked VERIFIED (an existing pinned record), UNVERIFIED (no playback evidence here) or UNSUPPORTED (full 3D reconstruction and toon relighting). Each statement is pinned to the published source it describes. Corrected while writing it: a blanket "layer parallax" description does not fit Core's rotation projection (cosine narrowing plus sine depth, bone foreshortening); Parts 1.68.0 sets narrowing:false on purpose; the standalone preview has its own scene and controller; the Three.js host places a flat group in a scene and does not relight it. Measured: targeted 25 pass (the Core ordinal fixture moved by the new page was repaired to a stable section id, the initial red kept); full suite 68 pass / 642 assertions; build 13 pages + 8 redirects; verify 0 over 13 HTML + 13 Markdown with path and anchor checks; the planted-anchor control still red then green; desktop 1440×1000 and narrow 390×844 without document overflow, hub and head-turn links working at both sizes. Rejected: format-name → playback equivalence; replacing historical pins with latest; claiming the depth producer's runtime integration verified; any lighting, orbit or legal promise; the #89 chooser and any demo edit. Closes #90.
New
/docs/capabilities/: a compact matrix by route (cut-out 2D, 2D retarget with depth cues, Core depth-driven rotation, the released Parts depth-sheet head turn, the standalone preview bundle) with required input, producing package/version, controls, output and the playback record — VERIFIED (pinned record) / UNVERIFIED / UNSUPPORTED (full 3D reconstruction, relighting). Linked from the docs hub and the head-turn example; licensing linked, not restated.Corrected: "layer parallax" does not describe Core's projection (cosine narrowing + sine depth, bone foreshortening); Parts 1.68.0 sets
narrowing:falsedeliberately; the preview bundle has its own controller; the Three host does not relight.Rejected: format-name equivalence; latest-for-historical pins; verified-integration claims; orbit/lighting/legal promises; the #89 chooser.
