The build job lost fetch-depth 0 together with the tag identity check, so hatch-vcs saw no tag and built 0.1.dev1+g<sha>.

6.0.0 removed the tag identity check from the
validate-python-releasebuild job and droppedfetch-depth: 0with it. That history was also what lets hatch-vcs and setuptools-scm find the release tag, so bump-deps-index 1.17.10 built0.1.dev1+ga10dea647and PyPI rejected the upload. Nothing was published. This restores the full-history checkout.
