## Vercel Web Analytics Implementation
Successfully installed and configured Vercel Web Analytics for the AppForge Next.js application.
### Changes Made
1. **Installed @vercel/analytics package (v2.0.1)**
- Used npm to install the latest version of @vercel/analytics
- Updated package.json and package-lock.json accordingly
2. **Modified app/layout.tsx**
- Added import: `import { Analytics } from '@vercel/analytics/next'`
- Added `<Analytics />` component inside the `<body>` tag, after the ThemeProvider
- Placement follows official Vercel documentation for Next.js App Router
### Implementation Details
- **Framework**: Next.js 16.2.9 with App Router
- **Package Manager**: npm (detected from package-lock.json)
- **Installation Method**: Followed official Vercel documentation from https://vercel.com/docs/analytics/quickstart
- **Integration Point**: Root layout file (app/layout.tsx)
- **Component Placement**: Added as last element inside body tag to ensure proper tracking without affecting page rendering
### Verification
- ✅ Package installed successfully
- ✅ No linting errors introduced
- ✅ Import statement added correctly
- ✅ Analytics component properly placed in layout
- ✅ Code structure and formatting maintained
- ✅ All lock files updated
### Notes
- The Analytics component will automatically track page views once deployed to Vercel
- Analytics must be enabled in the Vercel dashboard for the project to start collecting data
- Build error encountered is unrelated to Analytics implementation (pre-existing Clerk configuration issue with missing publishableKey)
- The implementation follows Next.js App Router best practices by placing the Analytics component in the root layout
### Next Steps for User
1. Deploy the application to Vercel
2. Enable Web Analytics in the Vercel dashboard (Analytics tab → Enable button)
3. Verify tracking by checking browser Network tab for requests to `/<unique-path>/view`
4. Monitor analytics data in the Vercel dashboard
