Only read this if you really want to know who I actually am and what my days look like :)

Short version, if you want to skip. Builder and gamer at heart, and an unfiltered guy who shares everything when I talk. I learn something every day and share it, and I take input from anyone, random strangers and specialists alike, if it makes me better at the craft. I do the same in return, if I see or read something, I share my opinion or raise an issue, and expect the same from anyone. I love talking with anyone, tech or non tech, who enjoys a healthy conversation, and I am completely cool with a clash of opinions, because that is how both of us get better

By title, a backend software engineer who started doing LLM integration and AI workflows. Quietly, somewhere along the way, I turned into an end to end software engineer. Frontend, cloud, DevOps and deploys, QA and testing, planning, architecture, implementation, manage and maintain all of it

A normal day looks like
β†’ Python, FastAPI, Redis, MySQL, MongoDB, AWS
β†’ Claude Code, tmux, Ubuntu, Git, and a lot of .md files
β†’ LLM integration, prompting, and watching logs
β†’ checking news.ycombinator.com for what changed overnight
β†’ drafting a LinkedIn post in my head and usually not posting it, because in the background I am already explaining it like a YouTube video, so it stays with me anyway :/

How I build, correct first, then fast, then maintainable. I build for the failure cases and retries, not just the happy path, because that is what breaks systems at scale

Along the way
β†’ Global Fintech Festival 2025 recognition for the DA and Securitization project, integrated with Finternet
β†’ LeetCode 1,563 rating, top 30%, 400+ problems, 11 badges
β†’ Coding Ninjas Master badge, top 4%

Currently
β†’ learning from github.com/rohitg00/ai-engineering-from-scratch
β†’ posting on x.com/withrvr and linkedin.com/in/withrvr/
β†’ reading books and articles on scaling servers for high throughput and low latency

Side projects in focus
β†’ TypeRush, stable at v0.7.0, major update coming after a while
β†’ Prompt Navigator, browser extension in beta, proper release soon
β†’ Currently building a ticket categorizer using System 1 decision models, locally hosted
β†’ A gamified, map heavy mobile app for runners, deep in the planning and architecture phase

Next to learn properly, Kubernetes and Kafka, production grade

Thanks for actually reading about who I really am... x_D

Always glad to trade notes with engineers building serious backend or AI native systems.

Follow or connect if you want to stay in the loop, and comment or DM anytime, I read everything
