Hero claim top-left, live stats card bottom-left, sign-in card anchored to the same horizon bottom-right. Particle field rewritten to match the reference site's motion model (3-color patches, breathing radius, exponential return), demo quick-entry group and SSO placeholder. Full suite green locally (774 tests).

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features
    • Updated the login page with feature tags, demo statistics, clearer demo-mode details, and secure-login messaging.
    • Added informational responses for GitHub and enterprise SSO options.
    • Added dark- and light-theme palettes for the animated particle field.
  • Updates
    • Refreshed English and Chinese login-page text and shortened the build footer label; build time is no longer shown.
    • Adjusted particle movement and appearance for a softer, more ambient effect.

📝 Walkthrough

The particle field now renders a breathing ring with exponential displacement relaxation and theme-specific palettes. The login page adds feature and statistics content, revises demo and sign-in actions, and updates localized copy, layout, and footer details.

Changes: Particle field

Layer / File(s) Summary
Ring geometry, motion, and frame calculation
src/components/ParticleField/field.ts, src/components/ParticleField/index.tsx, src/components/ParticleField/field.test.ts
The ring uses time-based radius variation and position-only motion. Displacement relaxes exponentially. Tests cover ring bounds, visibility, displacement, and motion following.
Theme palettes and drawing
src/components/ParticleField/field.ts, src/components/ParticleField/index.tsx, src/components/ParticleField/field.test.ts
The palette builder creates dark and light gradients. Drawing selects the palette for the active theme, and tests check palette samples.

Login page

Layer / File(s) Summary
Login content and responsive layout
src/pages/Login/index.tsx, src/locales/en-US/framework.ts, src/locales/zh-CN/framework.ts, tailwind.css
The page adds a badge, feature tags, and fixed statistics, with revised desktop positioning. Both locales add matching login copy and a short build-footer label. Tailwind adds a secondary-text mapping and a tall-screen alignment utility.
Login actions and footer
src/pages/Login/index.tsx, src/pages/Login/index.test.tsx
The page updates demo actions, adds informational GitHub and enterprise SSO buttons outside demo mode, and displays the secure-login note and shortened build label. Tests check the updated demo and footer copy.

The redesigned login page works. On desktop screens about 1024–1200px wide, the headline text can sit under the sign-in card. Real deployments also show fixed demo statistics, and the Chinese security text overstates what the session cookie protects. These are small fixes that are worth making before or shortly after merge.

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win

Fix the far-field threshold. The current assertion checks no particles.

setup() uses a 1200×800 field, so radius = ringRadius(1200, 800) = 240. The motion center is at (600, 400). The farthest grid particle is about 721 px from the center. The condition d > radius * 4 requires d > 960, so no particle meets it. farMaxLevel therefore stays 0, and expect(farMaxLevel).toBeLessThanOrEqual(1) on Line 108 passes for any computeFrame output. The test does not check the claim in its comment that far particles are drawn only as faint dots.

You can use radius * 2.5 (600 px). The corner regions of this field are past that distance. At that distance, the envelope is about 0 and haloFalloff * HALO_FLOOR is about 0.04, so the ambient term dominates and the expected level is 0. You can also assert that at least one particle matched, so the check cannot become vacuous again.

Remove the encryption claim from login.secure.

HttpOnly prevents JavaScript from reading a cookie; it does not encrypt the cookie or the session. The Chinese login page currently tells users that it does. Replace “加密保护” with wording that describes the protection actually provided. (developer.mozilla.org)

Do not present fixed demo figures as current production statistics.

STATS contains fixed values, including a count labeled “Alarms today.” The statistics card also renders when DEMO_MODE is false. A real deployment therefore shows invented device and alarm figures as current figures. Restrict the card to the demo, or load real statistics before showing it in real mode.

Keep the narrative in flow below the xl breakpoint.

At 1024px, the narrative can extend from x=40 to x=616. The sign-in card can start at x=440, so their horizontal ranges overlap. Their vertical positions can also overlap at common desktop heights, allowing the card to cover part of the narrative. This is a localized visual defect, not a major workflow failure.

The statistics panel ends at x=424, while the card starts at x=440 or farther right. It does not horizontally overlap the card at lg widths.

Do not link a real deployment’s build hash to the template repository.

REPO_URL points to the template repository, but this footer link also appears outside demo mode. If a deployment builds from a fork, its commit hash need not exist at this URL. Use a configurable repository URL or leave the hash unlinked outside demo mode.
