Summary

Fix the desktop presentation reported in the assigning-conversations guide. The teammate menu and reassignment result previously used mobile screenshots as their default images, including on desktop.

• Use genuine retained desktop sources for those two figures in Spanish and English.
• Add four lossless focused derivatives with their original 4× density and Display P3 ICC profile preserved.
• Keep the existing mobile picture sources for screens up to 600px.
• Record original provenance, exact crop coordinates, pixel hashes and complete browser review.

The article prose, titles, slugs, links and publication metadata are unchanged. This is a focused correction to the published guide.

Verification

• Ruby 3.3.6 production build and security header verification passed.
• All 24 selected PNGs match the root and Spanish build exports exactly.
• Complete ES/EN browser review at 1440×1000, 580×900 and 390×844 through the footer; all 70 diagnostic screenshots inspected.
• No page overflow, missing images or source upscaling; both complete desktop menus and assignment record are readable alongside their instructions.
• Original desktop source pixels and ICC match the exact retained parent subregions.
• git diff --check passed.

Source and local verification records are in docs/editorial-work/captures/assigning-desktop-correction-20261011/. Normal deployment and public revision checks will be verified separately after merge.

Merged normally as 7cdf84707d38f8f155b189d852d29501a7833c10; both original parents remain in history.

Main Build 38166502428 passed for that exact merge commit.
Normal Netlify production deploy 6acbddd97e395000085ea4f3 is ready and published with the matching commit_ref at 2026-10-11T19:05:40.010Z. No manual deploy was used.

Both public HTML pages and all 24 selected PNGs returned HTTP 200 and matched the reviewed local build byte for byte. The changed desktop menu and reassignment result were also inspected in the public browser in English and Spanish. The full local six-view review remains recorded in the committed local verification.
