Under ## Projects every open task of a project is its own tap-to-copy row headed by its ten-word Summary: with a state pill: green for planned / ready / accepted, grey for gated, yellow for submitted / running / pulled / awaiting-ruling, red when any run failed. The "N more open phase(s)" fold and the Running / Ready / Gated sections and tiles are gone — the Projects block carries that information now; Awaiting ruling and Recent rulings stay. Paths render as solid accent chips with white text in both themes.

Consumes PyAutoCortex's tasks/ tree and Summary: header (PyAutoCortex PR on the same branch, closes PyAutoCortex#20). Folds in the wording of #360 ("a run is the human's call, not the human's keystroke"), which is closed as superseded.

• agents/conductors/cortex/_cortex.py: census key phases → tasks; rows carry summary and no phase number; collect --phase → collect --task; pull-manifest key phases_live → tasks_live; SECTIONS loses live, ready, gated; new TASK_ORDER and tone map; _fold_label, _project_phase_md, ready_groups, OPEN_ORDER removed.
• agents/conductors/intake/_intake.py: _cortex_root probes for tasks/ (it probed phases/ and would have dropped every Cortex-gate badge from the Mind board); pill text "gates a Cortex task".
• bin/pyauto-brain registry description, board/_board.py, docs/organs/cortex.md, skills/cortex/*, skills/COMMANDS.md, AGENTS.md, AUTONOMY.md follow.
