The owner-approved test-only successor is #778 at signed Genuine same-branch hosted RED is now verified before any production restoration. Requirements run 39245425557 and artifact 12183746628 bind that source/tree, protected base The workflow remains failed at this test-only checkpoint, with its expected “Red proof retained; final reconciliation is required” result. This is failing-first proof, not implementation GREEN or protected authority. Production is absent in the RED source and base. Per the explicit owner-approved sequence, #776 can now close unmerged as superseded. Its original 85-case proof, 21-cell evidence and open installation-path finding remain historical evidence. That finding is not claimed fixed by this test-only successor. Implementation, final native storage/lifecycle proof, reviews and all existing gates will continue on #778. Planning modules #517 and core #770 remain planning-only. No merge or protected admission is authorized. |

56-66: 📐 Maintainability & Code Quality | 🔵 Trivial | ⚡ Quick winDocument the canonical RECORD bytes required by the no-op test.
_regenerate_recordsorts non-RECORD rows, emits LF terminators, and appends the RECORD row. The no-op test then requires the rewritten archive bytes to equal the original candidate bytes. A builder that emits a valid bijective RECORD in upstream/member order can therefore fail this test.Document the sorted row order, LF terminators, and equivalent ZIP serialization in the build/archive contract. The rewrite preserves the ZIP member order, so this does not require the RECORD entry itself to be the last archive member. OpenSpec defines the spec as the source of truth and tests as derived scenarios; the current “regenerated bijective RECORD” wording does not capture this requirement.

Native Semgrep/MCP inputs are explicitly candidate-only: Semgrep
1.175.0, MCP1.29.0, withdependency_admitted: falseandproduction_eligible: false. This matches the PR’s test/spec-only scope. [::nold-ai/specfact-cli-modules::]scripts/native_analyzer_inputs/requirements.in:1-7scripts/native_analyzer_inputs/candidate-version-policy.json:14-21
-
The companion repo retains a broader released dependency contract:
pyproject.tomldeclaressemgrep>=1.144.0, while candidate policy separately uses Semgrep1.175.0and MCP1.29.0. [::nold-ai/specfact-cli-modules::]pyproject.toml:37scripts/native_analyzer_inputs/candidate-version-policy.json:10-18
-
Admission is explicitly gated on future producer/consumer version maps, locks, signed profiles, and Linux/portable acceptance; the README states the candidate does not change the released
1.144.0policy. These updates are not present in this PR. [::nold-ai/specfact-cli-modules::]scripts/native_analyzer_inputs/candidate_policy.py:73-93scripts/native_analyzer_inputs/README.md:147-153
-
Native Semgrep validation binds the candidate to plan ID and fixed hashes for the core, reference, and parity helper. A future admitted wheel or metadata transformation must preserve or intentionally update these authenticated boundaries. [::nold-ai/specfact-cli-modules::]

The code-review bundle manifest remains version
0.51.2, with authenticated resource digests and an overall integrity checksum; its declared pip dependencies do not include Semgrep or MCP. No downstream-admission API consumer or matching contract was found in the companion repo. Restore downstream Semgrep candidate verification after authentic hosted RED for the owner-approved 89-case contract. Retain immutable admitted bytes and provide scoped private materialization for installation and audit binding. Keep native candidate probes and existing provenance, signing and security gates mandatory. Record the approved one-method preinstallation disposition. Production admission remains empty and protected adoption remains pending.

SpecFact CLI Validation Report✅ All validations passed! |

Replaced by #779 after its new same-branch hosted 89-case RED was independently authenticated, before any implementation restoration. Requirements run 39332823706 binds signed test-only source 17e8f32, tree 784939d6, protected base 729a53b, all 89 selectors and the newly approved exact certificate-identity assertion. Artifact 12224992743 service ZIP SHA-256 090c524b651f449ac0fb47cabdf89bbb02e8bc41a79315283ea50fc4a294a13e was verified. All89 failures are intended missing-boundary AssertionErrors, with zero errors/skips. Native gate passes at RED maturity/failing-first-proven; unchanged native binder replay succeeds without JSON changes. The owner explicitly approved this assertion correction and fresh proof, then authorized necessary implementation in both repositories as code owner under the project guidelines. Original 89 proof inputs and receipts remain immutable history. Signed implementation 3217e26 remains retained on this branch. It will be restored selectively onto #779 after this qualifying RED, together with the approved source hunk. This PR is closed UNMERGED. No protected authority, gate waiver or merge is implied. |
An admitted wheel previously exposed the caller's mutable transport path. Admission now retains authenticated immutable bytes.
AdmittedWheel.materialize()yields a fresh private wheel path with its original basename and removes it on success or error. Audit binding uses the retained digest. Installer reads and child-process joins finish inside the context. The installer, process, account and private storage remain trusted.The owner-approved 89-case hosted RED was authenticated before implementation restoration. All seven frozen proof inputs remain unchanged. The narrow one-method standard-library exception is approved and documented in
REVIEW_EXCEPTIONS.md.Published signed head
3217e26103efdd66da45fbdff7ba5b9515fcbb6balso isolates uv child processes from ambient uv configuration and correctly interprets Windows OWNER RIGHTS as the same ACL descriptor's validated owner. It adds no trusted principal, dependency, capability or timeout. The source fixes have genuine failing-first evidence, 211 relevant passing tests, independent review and normal signed hooks. Strict OpenSpec and independent SAST pass. The unchanged-input contract gate was skipped. The current hosted Python 3.12 full suite passes 3,640 tests with 10 skips and two warnings. Its log displays 64% rounded coverage against the unchanged 50% floor. The earlier local 3,611-pass checkpoint remains separate history; no unrelated local full suite was repeated.Current-head hosted evidence passes:
passing-after-red-proven.One confirmed provenance defect remains. GitHub CLI rejects the two mutually exclusive signer selectors. The independently reviewed exact certificate-identity correction would also revise one frozen exact-options assertion. That specific owner decision remains pending; the patch is unapplied and original proof inputs remain intact. Current-head CodeRabbit coverage is actual
reviewed; Codex code review is still running. The unresolved selector thread remains open.Production Semgrep/MCP pins,
uv.lock, the frozen Security Audit, empty admissions and protected signing/provenance/authority gates remain intact. The protected producer is explicitly unconfigured and fails closed. Candidate validation grants no production admission and does not clear #770's audit. This PR is not yet merge-ready.Refs #772 and #747. Planning modules #517 and core #770 remain planning-only. No merge permission is claimed.
